Disney's Action Game Featuring Hercules.
It took me about 2 years to finally beat it, and my father was a big help.
But nowadays, I've seen lets plays of that game, and people beat it in under 2 hours, it's just amazing how much I got out of that game, despite it being a short, and 2D game.


But yeah, when I was young, you really couldn't find walkthroughs for anything, that and the fact that I didn't actually have access to a computer, considering it was my dads and he used it for work.
When I had access to a computer, the first walkthrough-y thing I looked up was for Digimon World for the PS1, but I couldn't follow it, I mean, I was probably only like 7 years old or something.
But for those first 3 or 4 years, I played games without looking up anything, because it really wasn't necessary.
But nowadays, I'll look up a walkthrough if I don't want to miss something, like when I beat the Elite 4 on Pokemon White, I looked up a guide to make sure I didn't miss anything, and so I knew what I could do next, that's all I'd really use a guide for.

The most annoying thing in my childhood was the ****er wearing a trashcan in The Big Olive level in that game.
The ****er was invincible, the ****er did a shit **** of damage.. And the ****er followed you!

That reminded me of Cr1tikal... "Oh **** I right clicked.. I right clicked.. I right clicked.. What was I thinking? It's launching Soc'em Boppers at me and I right click? I ****ing right click? No wonder I got my shit shitted".
