JV is the only thing I have to get me away from everything. Whether I'm just having a rough day, or I'm having family troubles, whatever it may be.

I joined around the time the unofficially coined Chaos Emerald Caper hit JV, and regarding the havoc, like the noob I did, I tried to settle things using words.

People thought I was an idiot, hated me, rejected me, and only felt like making me feel worse about me actions. One post made me stay.

"Why do you care? You've only been here 2 weeks."

I stayed to prove them wrong and well, I think a year and a half is proof.

Well, the main reason I'm still here is because this is the first forum I've actually been apart of. I mean I've seen what other forums were like before, but I never actually signed up on any of them. That being said, I was a complete noob when I joined. If I look back at some of my earliest posts, it's actually quite embarrassing.

This brings me back to why I'm still here. Since this was my first forum, I felt I really needed to be involved. Therefor, I was addicted. After a few months my grades started to go down, and I decided I needed to cure my addiction. I was a lot less active. And compared to back then, I'm still a lot less active. I also feel I need to be even more less active because school is starting soon. The only reason I'm this active right now is because I have been getting straight A's and I feel I can balance JV with my school work, but this is also subject to change if my grades drop again. I've thought about leaving JV a couple times because of all this, but I'd probably never be able to do it. I'm aiming to be less active now, but JV does pass time, and I am less bored because of it which is mainly why I'm still here in the first place.

JV was my first forum, and is still the only forum I go to, even after nearly four years. I have many memories here and it makes it hard to leave, despite the fact that sometimes I really want to.


Actually, today is the day I joined JV four years ago, so not nearly four years anymore.
