I have just published a level with 100,000 blocks. Go play it and see if you lag. I don't.

As much as I would love to say yes, the only problem would that the game (if not, then the browser) could freeze up when the level seems too long. Hey, if I'm correct, then there's an unlimited set (if not, then bigger than 10K blocks) in PR3, and when I was finished with my level of, "Teleportation (PR3 Version)", the game lagged so much. I would have to say no to this one.

I never said it would lag that much... art lags more. Especially because of the horrendous form that PR2 uses to store and re-render art...

Well, I played it. It was fine! I was amazed. But also, I don't know if you meant it to happen, but the player glitch happens where 3 trees are in the backround... does that happen if you go over the block limit?

The level is 1,000 x 100 blocks. (Placed in order of top to bottom, then left to right.)

Yep. Counted down the shorter portion of the rectange and it was 100 blocks across, discounting the block that is out of place a bit.
And, yes, still no lag, but I don't see how mixing the players around would affect anything.
