Been through this before, and I just want to say that PR3 is mostly a better game in terms of features. Also, level editor and block editor can't be forgotten. However, the game isn't that active, abandoned by Jiggmin himself and the servers are better than before; however still not stabile.

PR2 doesn't really get much of the problems stated above, however it's also not as elaborate. The Campaign isn't as big a part, ghost racing doesn't exist, the Level Editor isn't half as good. I'd still say I prefer PR2 however, just because of how active it is. But, if we were to assume that activity was the same on both games, I'd pick PR3.

I personaly like PR2 it has a large selection of servers and is a ton easier to understand. No gold, silver or bronze metals in "single player" Platform Racing is ABOUT MULTIPLAYER!

It would be great if we had a better color picker in Pr2. These hex codes can be a pain. You would also see better art in Pr2.

I've always liked PR2. PR3 is still cool but I don't like that it is on Sparkworkz.

Pr2 does not have the same amount of creative capacity, you have an extremely limited selection of blocks, and you cannot customize nearly as much.
Pr3 has Deathmatches.
However, Pr3 was corrupted by Sparkworkz, will never be updated again, and has probably about 50 members.
This is why I cannot wait for Pr4, for it should have the best of Pr3, plus as many members as Pr2

Seriously sounded like you meant PR3 supporters were some kind of plague.

PR2 is pretty good to race in, but the lack of level editor tools just suck.

PR3 is good to race in too, because level creators can expand their ideas to an inimaginable amount of creative mechanisms, such as doors activated when you push a block and moving platforms. Not to mention that you feel comfortable when custom blocks are designed to fit with the in-game art.

So, if you want to race, and only race, PR2 is the way to go. If you have a passion for creating levels, PR3 is there to make your dreams true.

Pr2, the extra options in pr3 don't make give it that big of an advantage imo.
