Unreal 1 (1998) (Unreal Tournament was mediocre, and Unreal 2 sucked balls, UT'S Sequels were crap too)
Crash Bandicoot (Anything after Crash Wrath of Cortex was pretty much crap)
Spyro the Dragon (Anything after 3)
Sonic the Hedgehog (Anything after Sonic Adventure 2 was either crap or very mediocre, The day levels of the wii verison of Unleashed was awesome though)
Operation Flashpoint (Cold war crisis was good, then Dragon Rising and Red River forever shamed the name of the game, the spiritual successor ArmA still lives fortunately, which is a good game)

Hahahaa,
no.
SMG2 is the best Mario 3D game.
SA and SA2B are great games, (Though not great sonic games), Sonic CD was classic sonic style, and they've come back with 4, Colours, and definitely Generations.
Mario Kart Wii was a ton of fun. I can see what you mean MAYBE with bikes HURTING the concept, but certainly not the downfall of a series.

The vastness of space just takes my breath away I see through history. - Stratovarius (Timo Kotipelto)
Crash Bandicoot after Crash Bash was what I thought was the downfall.
Spyro after Year of the Dragon.
Tony Hawk after THPS 1-4.
These are some that I thought of right away.
Made with a text generator and I'm proud. (Ok not really.)
