Justin Bieber's music is the same commercially produced pop garbage as anything else, but this time the icon is a more readily hateable character, especially when he exhibits his lack of basic knowledge as Lightnin mentioned (for example, in an interview he didn't know what "German" meant).

Rick Astley is alright, nothing against him or his music.

Justin Beiber isn't a bad singer. I don't dislike him, although I wouldn't pay to go to one of his concerts. Hatersgonnahate he can rap, and apparently his got swag. I dont dislike Rick..

Justin Bieber's singing/songs are just really bad, in my opinion. For one, they usually are very repetitive, (You smile I smile, Baby baby, etc.), his voice just does not sound right, they literally make my ears hurt. I don't actually know him so I can't judge him on the kind of person he is, but I would prefer almost any other singer to him.
