1. to not draw in layer 1 behind vanishes or water, leaving holes in walls of buildings
2. to not shade something until people annoy you about it
3. random badly drawn shapes
4. to just make a random hole in the level without any layer 1 art
5. to make a bg that has very little to do with the level
6. to use V, <, > and ^ on trap arrow blocks
7. to be lazy and leave numbers used to identify blocks on a finished product
8. probably a ton of other stuff that I don't feel like getting right now
