Even multiplayer got boring quick cause of the small selection of characters and stages

They're games you completed at 5 years old..
And games don't have to be difficult to be enjoyable, take Minecraft for example.
If you're grinding in a Final Fantasy game you're doing something wrong.
Take FFX for example, Sphere Grid, when you level you get to unlock something on the grid, you don't need to complete the grid at all to have a good character, you can make ridiculous combinations and still have a good character, etc.
Hell, you can completely neglect characters in FFX and still beat the game, for example, I never ever used Tidus, Wakka or Khamari, and I had no trouble beating the game.
So.. Your friend fell asleep and now you hate Skyrim.. How in the world does that make sense?
Well, I found Skyrim fun when I played it, it's clearly not the worst game ever when people can pour over 100 hours into it, I mean, look at a game like Superman for the N64.. THAT is one of the worst games ever.
I NEVER hear anything from the FF fanbase, they're one of the quietest fanbases ever.
Skyrim has an obnoxious fanbase with all the, "OMFG HAHAHA ARROW TO THE KNEE LOLZ" and "I hate every RPG except Skyrim".
And Pokemon.. It's for C-H-I-L-D-R-E-N.. We played it as kids, and I'm sure teens of that generation thought the same thing about us, and now that there is a new generation of kids playing it, duh it's going to an obnoxious fanbase, because kids are obnoxious.

Urgh.. The Spyro Gameboy games were horrible.
The GBA ones were just as bad..
But the PS1/PS2 Spyros on the other hand were ace, up until "Enter the Dragonfly", it got a lot worse after that.

I don't hate Skyrim cause my friend fell asleep, I hate it cause it's boring as **** and has shitty first person combat
Well, Pokemon was indeed our game to start with, but really, I know more kids that play Pokemon than people my age, everyone grew up when they left Primary school, myself included, my last Pokemon game was Diamond & Pearl (and the 2nd Mystery Dungeon spin-off) and now it's Black/White and Black/White 2.. I've missed a lot..
I've only ever played FFX and FFXIII, I hated FFXIII because of the combat.
FFX has better combat IMO and more variety in combat, as well as being a classic.
Shit combat compared to other games like Dragon's Dogma (<3), but not shit compared to other RPGs on the market.
If you're into difficult RPGs with awesome combat, check out Dragon's Dogma.

Paper Mario 2 is possibly one of my all time favorite games. You can bash on the rest of them just not the paper. Mario franchises.

I really liked the first one and Super Paper Mario but the second one was just tedious in my opinion
Honestly, I'm not too big of a fan of all Paper Mario games, it's just that it should have been a completely new franchise, instead of slapping Mario onto there and saying "LOOK! IT"S MARIO!"

Homefront, I waited for this game, to find out that it took me like 2-3 hours to beat the single player. HUGE Dissapointment, and the multiplayer, might as well been called "SLOWFront"
