Well we haven't had this sort of staple thread in a while.

Now I think we can all immediately agree that any racial motivation for being such a jerk to happy couple is unjustifiable.

I think we're all aware that racism still exists in scattered pockets across the world, but it's always disheartening to have those suspicions confirmed and that such behaviour would be allowed in the interest of 'avoiding controvercy'.

What do you make of this?

It is the prejudice that people harbor against other races, for lack of good reason, which causes a lack of equality amongst our population, and while there will always be prejudice no matter how we go about it, the best thing that can be done is for people to try and reduce the unreasonable prejudice against other races, just so long as they don't end up, ironically, having a prejudice against those who are prejudice against other races, then it kind of defeats the purpose of what they're trying to do, even if they're not being prejudice against other races in particular.

That's my current opinion. There are probably a couple of flaws with it that I want you to point out.

"Only"? 200 years is a long time away, and things do dramatically change in the space of 200 years. Just compare what it was like 200 years ago with what it's like now. But of course, the world will never be 100% racist-free.
