As a member who joined this forum the first day it came out, I am amazed that the forum has lasted as long as it has and has remained constantly active since. I come in once a month to check how things are doing. I don't enjoy it so much anymore because it is a forum for kids. It was fun when I was a kid, but now that I've got a job and drive a car I guess I've matured beyond it or something deep like that.

I suppose if we were to rebuild this place we'd have to make a roleplaying thread like the ones that were so popular. I remember there was one that was like a massive war between humans and zombies. Half the members were zombies and the other half were infected. It wasnt so much role playing as shouting C4 detonate!

I never quite understood the idealistic view so many of you seem to have about what JV used to be like.
You say it's full of immature people and noobs now, but I can be almost certain it was then as well. Hell, it's very likely some of you used to be the immature people and noobs.
You say the threads aren't as good. I've looked at a lot of the older threads, and they are no better than the ones now.
You say the posts aren't as good. Same as above.
Basically, your idea of "[making] JV the community it used to be" is very flawed, as it was nothing like how you've warped it.
