Why in the world is it called "Windows Experience Index"? It's got nothing to do with experience. (Well, it can change your experience....I think it should be called "Performance" instead, though.)

I always thought this thing was a piece of shit anyways honestly. I plan on building my own eventually.
I wouldn't say they are old or bad. IIRC the WEI measures your HDD by the RPM, so most regular HDD's will get a rating of 5.9. My brother had everything at 7.9 with the exception of the HDD which was a 5.9.
I wouldn't say that is very bad. And the WEI is very bad at measuring the computers actual capabilities.
