I heard about this, I didn't know where and thought it was in my own country, till i heard the location.. I hope the guy who did it is put away for a long time.
Unless he has family members that will somehow support him he's ganna get a life sentence

Well in a way I guess thats better then being shot and in pain but....
This was in all of todays newspapers, being a checkout worker, I saw it on every front page, but with little in the way of details.
I was extremely worried that it had happened in my city, and considering loads of my friends went out to see Batman, I feared the worst, but I read into it on my lunch break and found that it was across the pond.
It's a horrible thing to happen.. But several of the victims could've done more to help, there were witness statements like, "I thought it was special effects when the bullets whizzed past me" and "the woman next to me had just finished saying that it's just a stunt when she was shot dead", etc.
No one called the police until several people were dead and critically injured, considering there was under a hundred in that theater, and around 80 were injured/dead, it means people outside the screening phoned the police, why didn't anyone inside do it? Because they thought it was 'fake'.
Yes, it's tragic, yes it's horrible and the man should be locked away.
But whose fault is it if you bring your children to a midnight showing and sit through an assault telling them it's just a stunt?
End of the day, these things do happen, mass murders occur and there is little we can do about it, aside from disallowing members of the public access to grenades, guns and gas.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Just sad how some people would react to this, and my heart goes out to those who were involved in the shooting.The shooting in Colorado was a horrific event. But instead of focusing on the actual criminal and the viral violence in this nation, liberals will hijack this into a pro gun control issue and conservatives will argue that more people need guns to defend themselves from these wackos. Americancan do better than this.
Well, I'm going to the official memorial not just because of respecting their losses, but there were multiple tweets saying that the Western Baptist Church are going to picket the memorial. Although that "you can't believe everything on the internet" is true, and that the Church doesn't have anything on their schedule yet, my mom is going over there just in case. What my mom said that we are going to make a wall so that they don't get in.
I know a lot of people don't agree with this but...
This is why people believe in concealed carry/right to bear arms, because if this guy had had to plan around other people shooting at him it might not have happened / been less devastating.
This whole thing is just terrible.
