Look at these rules.
They're not clear at all. These are the only rules we have on the entire forum, and moderators are supposed to punish people who only violate those rules. Many times, members have been warned for discussing moderator activities, which isn't on the rules at all.
It seems to me that moderators are only infracting people because they think it's right. Do they really follow these small rules with three paragraphs every time? I think not.
Someone should make a much clearer rule thread with details. Look at another forum. An average forum has at least one full post of rules to follow. What do we have? A puny little post that doesn't make things very clear.
Make a long thread addressing things such as flaming, piracy, spam, porn, personal information, threats, multi-posting, trolling, swearing, filter evading, bumping, advertising, illegal content, inappropriate avatars, profile pictures and sigpics, blogging rules, image size limit, and much, much more that the rules now have not made clear of.
How about we also create an entire section of announcements and rules to keep track of things, instead of just sticking a small thread in the Discussion Hall, which it doesn't even belong?
Anyone in favor of better rules, say
Aye.
