Simply being able to rotate and spin it around in 3D makes it possible to make complicated levels quickly, even before testing them. The runner icon in the top right shows where the rotation is relative to the level's start. (I'm responsible for getting that added) <3

After cutting my teeth on PR2 and PR3 level design, it seems someone took notice and I was asked to work on the new game. It has no current name as of yet, but you could consider it a sort of Run 2 with new features.

Don't worry guys, I'll try and keep the levels as fun and interesting as possible. I won't rule out making some jaw-breakingly difficult levels though. If you have any requests or ideas for levels then I'll read them on this thread and attempt to recreate the good ideas in the game. I want my levels to have a particular JV feel to them to represent this community on the new game.

I'm happy to be working with Player_03 on this game, he seems to share the same ideas that I do about level design and difficulty, levels that really test the user to make the wins far more satisfying.

This video is a sort of trailer including the new features and to drum up support for the game.

omg i love the run series

Hm. I actually did saw and played on some of your Run 2 levels, and I thought that it was great. Good luck on making 2.5 or whatever, and can't wait to see it!

More levels. (These will most likely be in the game)

A bit of a bounce block tutorial for skater, bouncing through the rings of blocks, looks really cool.

Semi difficult level that's very thin in width but long in height, that's a new feature for this game. You're no longer restricted to having 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5, you can have all sorts of weird combinations.

This is basically a giant pinball machine. After you start you only have your jumps to save you, for you'll be bouncing everywhere uncontrollably. Probably my fav level I've done so far.

If you think some of the CRL2 stuff is hard.... then oh boy.

Player_03 will probably want other level designers working on this game, so if you're interested then let me know in a PM, preferably with a level code from run 2 and I'll put in a good word for you.

Make it harder than the first Run game. It was quite easy even when you play on "Insane" or "Intense" (forgot what it's called).

You could also message me directly, but a good word from FinalCheetah certainly wouldn't hurt.

I see you have decided to join us :3

    -------------------------

    Some new features:
Level timers, sticky blocks, that make it more difficult to jump and slow you down, better tools in the map editor (Such as being able to change colours/block size mid edit.)

Nice! I would love to see a level that is purely just a flat area, and your goal is to avoid all the purpple blocks and such.
