Big Ben to be renamed as Elizabeth Tower

This is just ridiculous.
When someone names a historical landmark, it should keep
that name unless it tips over or is destroyed or something...

Anyways, Queen Elizabeth (The first) was a great queen, but the name should remain as is.

The name of the tower is, yes, going to change to the "Elizabeth Tower". However, the tower itself isn't even called the "Big Ben" - that's the name of the bell. So you'll still be able to use Big Ben all you want like conservative pansies who curse change with the most ridiculous excuses.

But you know what? It's already happened before. Right opposite of the Parliament building lies another tower, and it's called the "Victoria Tower", honouring another queen that sat on the throne for 60 years as well.

So there you have it. You're not going to be calling it the "Elizabeth Tower" - that's just a new name for the tower to honour the queen and her symbolic 60 years on the throne. It's hilarious to see you guys sobbing over this despite the fact that the only thing you're really against is the name, not at all caring over the fact that it's a well-thought out idea that will also ensure that both towers in the Parliament are named after two historic queens.

But oh man, at least put a source for this, because the title itself just reeks of sensationalist bullcrap. For shame.
