I live in Singapore and I'm rather embarrassed about this event happening in public. I've decided to share it with you guys.
Recently, a girl, about 17, was in the public transport system, MRT. MRT, an acronym for Mass Rapid Transit, is a public train service. The girl boarded the train and sat on a Priority Sit that was reserved for the elderly, disabled or pregnant. However, being tired and seeing that there are no elderlies around, she sat on the priority sit. After a few stops, an aunty in her mid 40's entered the train and stood in front of her, expecting the girl to give up her sit. After waiting for a few minutes, the aunty was dumbfounded and reprimanded the girl immediately, saying that she was cock-eyed and wasn't able to see her at all. The girl, embarrassed, gave up the sit to the aunty immediately. Although the aunty was given the seat, she continued shouting at her for being inconsiderate. In return, the girl started arguing with her saying that she's not that old or disabled. The aunty then took out her mobile phone, wanting to take a picture and threatening the girl that she would report her in the newspapers.
