Problems with PR3 Moderation

To be perfectly blunt, PR3 moderation is terrible. We have around 15 moderators, and this entire week I haven't seen a single one on PR3. The only time there are ever mods on is when they change the LOTD, which is about every 2-3 days.
The chat is completely awful thanks to the constant spammers. There has been an average of two hackers or flamers in every level I've played over the past few days. And no one is doing anything about it.

Just because a lot of people don't like PR3 doesn't mean that it should be left to rot. A lot of people DO like PR3, and they deserve to have a good time in chat and in levels. Even though there are 1-2 moderators that actually show up (props to you Bob and Yak), there is always constant moderation in PR2. We need at least SOME moderation in PR3, I for one don't want it to be a game full of scumbags.

This problem needs to have a solution brought up, either with more committed moderators for PR3 that moderate the chat and reports, or we need people modded who actually go on to PR3 often (I know a few people who would be good candidates for this). One way or another, PR3 moderation needs to be better.

For the ones who were wondering... no, PR3 doesn't hate me, Sparkworkz does. PR3 works... laggy, but half of the time, I can stay on it without being disconnected (my Internet is a bit random, to call it something; and PR3 isn't very tolerant to small failures). Buuuuuut... Sparkworkz, not happy with getting profit for one ad, decided to add some code that refreshes the page in background and serves a new ad several times a minute. That is what kills me most of the time -- it's not strange to be unbale to log in due to that, because the ads keep loading before PR3, and PR3 doesn't even get a chance to load.

I do check the reports sometimes though... but very sparingly.


Oh, and the modding tools are horrible. But there's no solving that, because Jiggmin can't update -- he sent an update nine months ago, and Sparkworkz still hasn't uploaded it! The modding tools in PR3 are mostly counterintuitive, you can't even check priors without digging 17429057329 pages of ban logs (you know how many, but not what for)... but only Sparkworkz can fix that.


More PR3 mods won't solve the problem, although it could alleviate it. I don't know if Jiggmin plans to make a PR3 mod, though. Honestly, I doubt it.

(Oh, and only Jiggmin and Sparkworkz can make a new mod in PR3. And Jiggmin is barely able to access the database once every so often.)

Since I have this same problem (with disconnecting and having trouble getting on) I can tell you guys it's valid. If your connection on PR3 fails for just a second you could DC. This happens to me rather often. (Ask God/Alnino6, he plays with me and can tell you I DC often.) I also get errors when trying to load a level or something else sometimes. (Ask anyone who plays with me, even on PR2!)

If the ads are a problem, I'm surprised you haven't found a way around them. You can:
1) Get an ad blocker.

The ?v=12 is completely useless. You can replace it with ?v=ase2461niase9 if you want.
