This kira went for a splash attack so I'm guessing they didn't actually know who was an L.
De007's name wasn't on Verity's list so a name keeper must be sneaking names to the Kiras (or someone else gave their insurance name to the kiras).
It would be really helpful at this point, if you're an L, make yourself known to me or Yak. This wud be really really helpful.
