The line between 'non chicken' and 'chicken', is arbitrary and cannot be reduced to 1 generation in any case, rendering the question futile. It is like asking at what second a boy becomes a man; we all know that boys become men slowly, and that the two words aren't concretely distinct or mutually exclusive in definition.
It's the same with the chicken, it evolved from earlier bird species which laid eggs- so eggs definitely came first, but if we were to ask 'was the chicken egg or the adult chicken first?', we'd be lost in semantics, because at what point does a non chicken evolve into a chicken; when it's genome is 99.5% akin to today's average bird, when it's 99.7%? Remembering that speciation is such a gradual process we can't use interbreeding as a line to disqualify non chickens.

Chicken. Because the chicken inside ate the egg before so the egg won't spawn.
The chicken. An egg is just an egg without the rooster to do his job...
The egg, chickens aren't the only things that lay eggs...
Neither, evil aliens one time can to earth and brought the chickens and the eggs at THE SAME time, eventually the chickens we have today will somehow take over the world! D:
Imagine if chickens were really sentient beings, the wrath and the anger they'd feel towards a certain species which grows them industrially for the slaughter.
