No, your beliefs are not certain, however the actual truth whatever it may be isn't going to change because of your or anybody else's belief.
I think he's trying to suggest that what is current theory now may later be disproven- like newtonian law was. Yes this is okay to suggest, but if you want us to apply it to the current argument you first have to prove us wrong- so back to square one I'm afraid.
Poozy however was suggesting that no matter what you believe there is one true reality- and that no matter what you believe this reality is unchanged. That's verging onto philosophy if you take it to its extremes, but to provide a literal example: the earth is round no matter how much you believe it is a cuboid, or a disk.

But with respect to our percieved reality, can we achieve anything by assuming our perception is incorrect to an extreme or undetectable extent? No.
Isn't it suspicious anyway that spirits seem to hide at the peripheries of our perception, and only show themselves when our brains are malfunctioning or psychotic with drugs? If we choose to give our percieved reality some credit, ghosts monsters elves and spirits live inside our heads, not in the outside world we are sometimes aware of.
