What is DMT?

Well, chemically, DMT is a very simple molecule, that is very common in nature. In fact, its found in more plants than it isn't found in. Its structure is almost identical to serotonin, which is used in the body all the time, yet it's the most powerful psychedelic 'drug' known to man. What seems to be most interesting about it, is that it seems to have direct connections to many spiritual beliefs, as well as the human body. Its like a chemical the binds science and spirituality.

Endogenous DMT
There is research suggesting that DMT is produced in the pineal gland, which is located in the very center of the brain, that otherwise is said to have no function. Although there is no solid proof as of right now that the pineal gland produces DMT, there are reasons to believe that it does.
-There is an enzyme in the pineal gland that has proven to be capable of DMT synthesis
-The similarities between it, and serotonin are astonishing

Spiritual DMT connections
DMT is said to be 'the spirit molecule,' connecting us with the divine. The amazonians have used it in spiritual practice since the 8th century, in a DMT brew called Ayahuasca. Personally I believe it is a chemical catalyst for the soul, that can be used to transcend the barriers of our human bodies. Like I stated before, it's said to be produced in the pineal gland, which is located in the center of the brain. This is also said to be the site of the third eye chakra in Hinduism, as well as other spiritual beliefs/religions. When people smoke DMT, they often report to have traveled into another, higher dimension, where they communicate with these entities that teach them some sort of great truth. These entities are often interpreted as God(s).

Weird DMT facts
-The pineal gland in reptiles have a lens, and a cornea. Sounds a lot like a third eye to me!
-The human pineal gland has the same proteins as the rods and cones in our eyes do, making it capable of detecting photons
-The pineal gland is lined with a micro-crystal substance, named calcite.

• These crystals are pizo-electric.
• This means they are capable of detecting electromagnetic signals without electricity, by vibrating with a certain frequency when they interact with these signals.
• They also display pizo-illuminatic properties, meaning that when these pizo-electric crystals vibrate, they release photons.
• There are even pizo-chromatic crystals in there. These can release full-color photons, they can be picked up the the rods and cones in the pineal gland

-The pineal gland of a fetus is produced in the womb at day 49. In the Tibetian beliefs, the 49th day is said to be when the soul of a dead person is reincarnated. The 49th day is also when the fetus 'decides' its gender.
-Fluoride and chlorine gum up the crystals in the pineal gland. There are traces of fluoride and chlorine in our drinking water. Kinda sounds like something is being covered up... Also, keep in mind that DMT is one of the most illegal drugs in America.

So what do you guys think about DMT and the pineal gland? There is evidence that our pineal gland is our Third Eye, and there is also evidence that the pineal gland produces the most potent psychedelic known to man. Is it really the spirit molecule? Does it connect us with god? And why would anyone be trying to stop our pineal gland from working?

Smoking it is how its most commonly done recreationally, but it can also be done through injections, and orally. Orally, it requires and MAOI, otherwise it just won't work, but that's how ayuasca is done.

DMT is the most fascinating of all IMO. Psychedelics really spike my interest, and this is like the holy grail of psychedelics. You literally lose all sense of self when you smoke enough of it. And that is only like 2-4 hits.

An MAOI is a chemical that prevents the breakdown of certain natural chemicals in the body. In this context, its just a chemical that makes DMT orally active. Ayuasca is a DMT brew, that many amazonians drink as a spiritual ceremony. And its just DMT and MAOIs

It being involved in dreaming is just a theory. The idea is that high doses are released during REM sleep. This I haven't looked into too much, so I don't really know why they think that, but I'll do some research and get back to you on that.

Also not everywhere puts fluorine in the water supply, but there's a higher risk of tooth decay in those areas. I'm not sure the tiny concentrations that they use would actually make their way into the pineal gland anyway. Just putting that out there, not everything is a conspiracy.

That part was more so to spark discussion/add to things to think about. I don't really think they're trying to hurt our pineal glands
