My school does anyway. But it's kinda like a half and half.. It helps prevent unwanted pregnancies but it also kinda says we are okay with children having sex as long as they use protection.![]()

What's wrong with teenagers having consensual safe sex? Does having sex suddenly and only become a moral option on your birthday...can people really stick to such arbitrary measures as if they're solid?
No, realism is far more important.
My college provides contraception and a sexual health clinic, but some students admitted to losing their virginity at and younger than 14. It's biology, so it's inevitable and in that case why shouldn't the school be there to ensure it happens safely? The school has the greatest opportunity to introduce people to contraception.
Raar!

Have you ever been to your local swimming pool and there is always a guy standing in front of the condom machine.
No? Just me.
Who cares about shifting the responsibility, it's the opportunity that matters, the opportunity to prevent unwanted pregnancies and reduce the spread of STI's.
I've never usex my college's sexual health clinic, doesn't make me a loser, just a virgin.
Raar!
I know that STDs as a result of unprotected sex are worse than that, I never said they weren't. I said somebody ELSE should have the responsibility of providing children with condoms if they're inevitably going to be having sex, not the school.
And honestly I do go under that assumption, and maybe it is something that's wrong for me to assume of everybody, but in my experience kids are already intimate at school and this is just middle school I'm talking about... I really cannot imagine what highschool is going to be like. ._.
The switch is now OFF.
I was given a condom at school in 9th grade. I think it's good that schools hand out condoms. No one is telling them to go have sex, but if they want to, wouldn't it be good using a condom?
The real question is, why is this thread needed?
And my answer is no
