Minecraft On Xbox

Have any of you guys gotten this yet? I got it on the first day and it isn't as great as I expected it to be. It's only in version 1.6 which is like a whole year old, they've created an enormous amount of updates ever since then which means you're missing a bunch of stuff that's on the PC version. There's no NPC villages, abandoned mineshafts, no strongholds, ravines, rivers, pistons, endermen, jungles, mooshroom areas, and much much more.

You most likely will have to pay for the texture packs, the mods, and you have to have xbox live gold in order to play co op, there's also no multiplayer.

In my opinion I think this game deserves a 6/10. What do you guys think?

It's still always gonna be behind the pc version. itll take months for it to catch up

I actually like it a lot. Multiplayer is pretty good.

I think I read on the minecraftforums it was gonna be updated to 1.7.3 soon. It is also the fastest selling game ever on the XBLA, with 400 000 sold the first 24st hours. I do not have it, actually I don't have an xbox at all, but you are supposed to be able to play up to 8 players on a world, with any combination of co-op. So you could have 3 people sitting at one xbox, 4 at another and a single guy at yet another.

I got it. I never liked it on PC, but I love it for xbox. They're going to keep updating it until it's on par with the PC version.

I played it at a friends house, and I think it's pretty fun. Although it doesn't have as much creativity.

its still on beta. its the same minecraft of pc but the oldest version. it will be like the pc version

and yes it has offline CO-OP.

However you need HDMI, and a super good screen.
