No in fact he might have a valid point. You see these worms could be of a certain parasite that remains nourished on your blood. It may be causing you to itch. In fact the main cause of these worms could in fact be a paradox that is interlocking with dimensional nodes via temporal rift and are gaining access to our flesh and blood from there. They, like mosquitos, seem to have the ability to sync their virtual selves in and out of the time line.
