It would have been nice to have all priors reset every other year.

I hope you consider this, Jiggmin. It would have been a relief not to have so many priors hanging behind my back anymore, and I think many other forum members would agree.
    Maybe
↑ This quote pretty much explains the idea.

As you can see, Jiggmin responded that he could maybe add this feature. What do you think about this? Do you think we should have this, or something that reassembles this?
I thought about it after I sent the PM to Jiggmin, and maybe a feature that would expire 2+ year old infractions automatically would have suited better. If there was one decided day to reset priors, people could just go crazy the day before.

I've already explained why I want it. Now I'm asking the community to discuss this idea, and maybe some better suggestions.
You found my secret message. Congratulations, you suck at life.

My thought is maybe if one behaves and doesn't earn infractions, then he/she will not have to worry about asking to get old infractions deleted.

Yeah, especially when I found out you got infracted for an epicly ridicolous reason.

I agree that people who haven't gotten a single infraction/warning in the past X months (let X > 3) could get their priors reset -- it's not a bad idea overall.

Yeah, but I don't think three months is that much. I was thinking more of 2+ years priors. People who have matured (not necessarily targeting myself) and grown to become completely different people during two years shouldn't have their past to be held above their head constantly.
    Let it be forgotten.

I don't think having a Prior Reset Day is a good idea, but it could be modified to be good. Something like what aaa said might work, though. Behaving for a long time could get rid of priors, perhaps one by one.

At any rate, I do think that getting super-long infractions/silences/bans for minor offenses when your last offense was a long time ago is not good.
