If you want to add this info:
The "engines" are called "Beetle", "Jelly Fish", and "Umpa". (From left to right.)
The "power"s are called "Wisher", "Six Finger", and "Triple Z"
"shields": "Bungee", "Energy", "Steel"
"weapons": "Boulder Dash", "Brilliance", "Remorse Maker"
(You cannot do anything with these, except select them.)
The icons in the top-right are, from left to right and top to bottom:
"save" "load"
"settings" "new"
"undo" "redo"
(Save and load do not work.)
Pictures for "settings" and "new" on "Ships" tab:

The "ok" button for "new" does not work on the "Ships" tab.
The "new" button has the same result on the "Chassis" tab, except the "ok" button works. "new" erases all art, extra layers, and returns settings (width and height) to default. (both 75)
Picture for "settings" on "Chassis" tab:

"health" does nothing, and returns to 50 when you leave.
"width" and "height" change the width and height of the area you have to draw on. They remain at the values you set when you leave settings. They do not erase your drawings. Width and height are measured from the left and right of the box, so increasing height only gives you space below what you had before, none above. (Art covered up by edges is not erased. You can increase the width/height again to see it again.)
All settings are returned to default when you change tabs. All drawings/layers are erased. Everything else stays. (Tool you have selected, tool options.)
The tools to draw with on the "Chassis" tab are:
"brush" "pencil"
"eraser" "rectangle"
"ellipse" "stamp"
"selector"
First picture of "Chassis" shows the "brush" tool selected.
"pencil" tool is the same, but has no size option, and is always 1. It's settings (for color and alpha) are separate from "brush"'s settings. (as with all tools)
"eraser" has the same options as "brush", except no color option.
"rectangle" and "ellipse" have the same settings (but independently changeable). Picture:
The picture shows a rectangle made with the shown settings. As the picture shows:
The first color is the color of the inside of the rectangle.
The second color is the color of the edge of the rectangle.
"stroke" is the width of the edge.
"f alph" is the alpha of the inside of the rectangle.
"s alph" is the alpha of the edge.
"stamp" tool does not work. Neither does "selector". They do absolutely nothing, except change the tool options box. With "stamp" it is a thin (short) box [sides are semi-circles at this size], with "selector" it is gone completely.
The buttons under "Layer 1" (on the right) are:
"move layer up" "move layer down" "create art layer" "delete layer"
Moving layers up/down does not work. Creating and deleting does. (You cannot delete all layers - at least one has to be there at all times.)
"create art layer" makes a new layer named "Layer 2". Next time it's "Layer 3" and so on. Deleting layers does not allow it to re-use numbers. Picture:

You can select layers by clicking on them.
Layers cannot be re-named.
New layers are over all previous layers.
Layers on bottom of list are draw on bottom, layers on top of list are drawn on top.
"delete layer" deletes the selected layer. (with all it's art of course)
