I'd use both. They're both really good.

The Pro looks a LOT like an Xbox 360 controller, which I love. Not sure about the Wii U Gamepad though, I'd have to try it.

EDIT: and I just noticed this: for the first time since the SNES, Nintendo's making a primary controller, packed in with the console, that doesn't either look like someone puked plastic on a controller shell or decided to make a f***ing motion controller as the primary controller. Granted, the Sixaxis and DualShock 3 controllers also have motion controls, but it's far from the primary feature like with the Wiimote.

Because Nintendo is trying to perfect everything before they can officially make good games. Within this year and next E3, we will get games like Zelda, Mario (Good), Metroid (Hopefully), etc. Oh yeah....SUPER SMASH BROS!
