I'm in chip design; our chips are very large and complex, and need a lot of server horsepower to design. We have around 100 active servers for design work, and more, counting the older ones we don't really use that much. So yeah, we have a lot of machines. I'm a bit of a server geek, and happily, I get to be involved in choosing the server hardware for our design teams. It's kind of fun -- I'm soon going to be adding some new Sandy-Bridge servers, which should rock for folding :-)
