The Initial Infection

Hello, and welcome to my very own RPG. This thread is a serious roleplay and i would like quality posts. First off i will start with the backround info.

You are an Average citizen living in a big city. One day a zombie infection breaks out. People start turning into zombies, but some peoples DNA is not suseptable to the disease. 10% of the population survives. You are one of those 10%. The 10% is random, meaning your parents and siblings may be infected. You do NOT have any weapons besides basic utensils such as a kitchen knife. You do NOT have super powers, nor can you do anything supernatural. This is as if you are in real life! The only way to kill the infected is to cut the brain and spinal cord connection. Hitting them in the arm 40 times will do nothing. These zombies are attracted to sound, so being quiet is the best tactic, but your character will not know that right away. These zombies are people that have been lost, they are gone forever once infected. Killing people you know may be hard for your character. The zombies infect non infected by biting them and continually clawing at their flesh. They never eat you, they just have the crave for gnawing and slashing at the living.

Name: Jay Blugston

Backround History: Jay is an average college student. He goes to school for medicine. He is rather good with medicine and knows many things about the human body. He lives on his own in an apartment with many other residents in the building. Jay went to school in a different city as where he is from. His parents live 500 miles away. Jay had a great childhood, growing up in a middle class family.

Appearance: Jay has brown hair, he is 6 feet tall, and has green eyes. He wears blue jeans and wears a sweatshirt most of the time. He wears athletic shoes most of the time. He wears a baseball cap and has sunglasses. He has gloves that he carrys with him most of the time.

Weapon: Hatchet (will be explained how in first post.)
