Thread: Favorite Pokemon Generation?

  1. #1

    Default Favorite Pokemon Generation?

Well as my topic title asks...what was your favorite pokemon generation/games? I like the first two generations, and as far as games go I also favor the older RBYGSC games which didn't have the whole nature thing and you were able to max out pokemon stats a bit easier, but at the same time when they added nature to each pokemon it also added more depth to pokemon training, just my little opinion..

To be honest, I like them all the same. There's nothing that I can necessarily point out from a single generation of Pokémon games that signifies it as my "Favorite," but I would like to point out that I like how in Pokémon Emerald you can catch a lot of Legendary Pokémon, which I think is pretty cool. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Pokémon Emerald is the game where you have the ability to catch the most Legendary Pokémon in one game (Without using Action Replay, of course).

    Generation 1 all the way.

    Best Pokemon?

    Charizard and Blastoise by far.

They basically will keep churning out new generations till Pokemon stops rolling in the dough[ and that's probably never]. So gotta stay with the classics and go with Generation 1. Although I loved the 3rd generation with the cool storyline and all and the cool side stuff like the Regis and Mirage Island.

    Generation 1 and 3.

4 and 5 will never be good generations to me, especially not 5, they have very wierd names and look all roboty.

2nd generation isn't really my favorite either, so 1 and 3 stands victorious.

I loved RSE, they were the games I grew up with. But Gen IV just had the best pokemon I've ever seen.

1 was the best these days pokemon games are just the same over and over which is why i no longer buy them

all they do is add new pokemon and people just have to buy the games over that?

You can say the same thing about Platform Racing. All Jiggeh does is add more body parts, hats and gives you the power to customize levels just as you can customize your pokemon. Hypocrite. Go back and play PR1 if you're saying the same thing, slow gameplay, poor graphics and limited levels. There isn't much difference

    Generation 2 is Hoenn right?

I don't really like Black/White. The game didn't last very long unlike Gold/Emerald.
