I think Tarlock (I have no clue how to spell him name) is helping Amon. And Tarlock was in Korra's flash back. I think that Aang was in court or something and ended up losing to Tarlock. Mainly because Aang looked lick he was upset as if he had lost. Anyways, I can't wait for next weeks episode. And I truly hope that Korra goes into the Avatar State soon. But you can tell that Aang is trying to contact Korra spirit wise with the visions. I think he is trying to tell her about why Tarlock is bad.
