One problem with making teams random would be that there could be two people on the same team with the same name...

    First reasonable Kong complaint.
    I need a signature.

4x more research for kong to work with is pretty stupid, it should be reduced to at least 3.5x.

First of all, I've been on this site for years and even a moderator for it, so why would I hate this "jiggmin character"? :p

The game would die with your idea because there are plenty of other games like this one, and if it gets random-ated between sites then it's similar to all the other games. Most people would get assigned to a site they may not like and quit because what's the point of fighting for a site you aren't even apart of. The site vs site concept keeps it interesting.

I'm pretty sure the point of the game is to destroy other sites and see which site is the most powerful anyways. If Kongregate has more members than the other teams, good for them. They deserve the win then. Besides, looks like Newgrounds is starting to catch up to them. I get what you mean that you want it to be even, but the game isn't supposed to be even. It's supposed to be a war.

If you really want it to be more fair for Jiggs, go and recruit more members. That's what we need.

(the original 25% attack bonus was way too high in the first place, glad that went down)

I already gave up on this game.

And what is with the bold @-@ I was obviously joking when I said that and I know you're a moderator. I've been on this site just as long as you have o-O

Ok now, the bonus was decreased to 5 percent attack bonus?
What about facebook's 100 percent spy bonus?
Or NG's 33 percent revenge bonus?
    What about those?

They're a bit too high, especially the spy bonus.

This game is about team-play and the person who has more people on his team obviously wins, so I see no reason why kongregate's bonuses should have been nerfed so severelly. That's like giving the Horde from WoW a -50% damage dealt "bonus" because more people play the Horde rather than the Alliance.
No, that's not going to happen, and it shouldn't have happened here.
Jigg just nerfed Kongregate for being more coordinated than other websites and such, and what did he do about the NG hacking issues? Nothing.
What are the other websites doing now? Teaming up against Kongregate, even after it was severelly nerfed.
A game developer with a brain would think of the after effects of anything he does, and obviously the choice he made by nerfing the Kongregate bonus is a bad choice.

Jigg either has to return Kongregate's bonus, or at least increase it to 10-20 percent, or decrease the other website's bonuses to even the odds out.

The other bonuses are higher because they aren't as powerful. 100% spy bonus just means that their spying is twice as fast/good.

Kong: A bunch of cry babies that whine when they are equal to everyone else because they suck but are many.

I see you hold up to your title, ~Twisted, being immature.
Also, Kongregate won several times, how could they suck if they won?
Think about it, and then slap yourself in the face with a fish.

    "Twisted" =/= "immature"

Kongregate won several times due largely to the fact that they had a HUGE, and I mean HUGE advantage in numbers.
Even if Jiggs players were 5x as good as Kong players, Kong would still be able to win several times in a row.
(I think what he meant, though, was that most Kong players are bad [probably true], though not ALL of them are.)

What WOULD balance the game perfectly, but also remove the point, would be to remove teams and have research be a 1% bonus per "win", which can be stacked, but can also be stolen by attacking research centers.

Or just have Team 0 be used to hold excess players from all the sites - because they can attack each other and can't research to win together, as well as having to do a metric ****ton of research due to not having any help with it, they're a lot less dangerous than all of Kong even if there's more of them. Divide the ENEMY, not YOURSELF, and conquer.

...because I can't leave an idea brief, I'm going to elaborate...

Team 0 would only have players added if a new player joined on a team and the teams were currently balanced. Based on where they play from, it keeps track of both actual count (without Team 0 implemented) and resulting count (with Team 0 implemented).

Let's look at it like this. I'm only going to count 3 teams in to save time, I was meant to be playing games 3 hours ago...
Kong has an actual count of 20000.
New Geo has an actual count of 5000.
Jiggs has an an actual count of 1000.

As a result, Kong, New Geo, and Jiggs have a resulting count of 1000.

If Jiggs gets another player, bumping their actual count to 1001, you end up with a resulting count of 1001 for all 3 teams.

If Jiggs were to overtake New Geo, and NG stayed at 5000, the resulting counts would stop going above 5000 until NG got more players.

All of the left over players go into Team 0, where they aren't able to co-operate all that much, until the actual count of the team with the lowest actual count goes up. When the resulting count goes up, a random player who plays on each team is moved into the main team.

The lowest actual count is the same as the resulting count for all teams.

If you didn't understand that, congratulations, you're an idiot.
my mind got so sharp that it cut my brain up

Suuper, one of the best WotW and PR2 players I know.
He has the user-title "A noob." We write the user-titles ourself and we like to be sarcastic at times.

A'ight, instead of ranting all day how about coming up with effective solutions?

I would think a good idea is after you launch, other teams get a research bonus for the next round, like 5%, increasing by another 5% each time they win. This would increase the chance of other teams winning next time, without the boost being permanent.

The other team already gets it harder if they already did it once.

However, the second version would force as much balance as possible without random teams.
