I'd like to state that I believe we get so many turns/minute is because people don't like waiting.
It would just slow things down and inpatient people (like on kong) would just leave and not give it a chance.

I can partly agree but as far as we know, in general people want fast placed action. They don't want to wait 5 hours just to be able to get their empire together again.
Besides this makes more people play it so I will not complain unless there is too much.
Of course we want turns to match our standards when we play against others but if we are going to do that we still need people to play against.
I don't really mind a game moving quickly, but this one is real-time and going on ALL THE TIME. When it goes this fast, it begins to be a competition of who can be online the most. There is no way I can get on to use even a third of all the turns I get now.
I'd prefer a game where I can't be defeated merely because I can't get on for a few minute every half hour.

Yeah, that was a bit slow...
I don't want a much higher max number of turns....Maybe someone can come up with some other solution? (If you could save up to 999 [for example] turns at once, you could do A LOT at once - TO much.)

I'd say about 5/min to not make it too fast or too slow.
