Many people know they are mods or fakes

But is he a hoax or is he a pure ghost?

I personally think hes a legitimate creepy pasta. What do you think?

Herobrine is a minecraft meme or rather a creepy pasta (Paranormal stories) that became popular. he was added one time and summonable but he was removed. rumor says that hes still in the game. Herobrine is supposed to represent Notch's(Markus) dead brother. Herobrine has a default skin with no pupils, looking dead and creepy. He makes perfect pyramids,houses, trees with no leafs and 2 by 2 tunnels containing redstone torches.

There are 2 sides of Herobrine.

The Stalkerish Side is when he follows you and watches you (Tiny Render Distance). if you try to hit him or go close, hes gone

The Miner Side is when he sneaks up and attacks you. He traps you in dungeons and takes your items, or robs your stuff. That is the only time you are able to kill him.

You can summon him in the early version (forgot) with 8 Gold Blocks (72 Gold Ingots),1 moss stone,flint and steel,4 red stone torches and netherrack.

If you try to post it on forums, they will delete it, post it again and it will be deleted faster. then a guy called Herobrine will say one word. "stop"

Herobrine is a load of bullshit. Now, if I can watch you register a Minecraft account, pay for it, download the game, create a world, and THEN encounter Herobrine with no possibility of mods, I'll believe you.
