As most of us know, the hunger games will be released the midnight of March 23, 2012. The long awaited movie has been talked about since the books were first released. I thought it would be a good idea to make a thread about the Hunger Games!

This thread was made for others to express their opinions on the book series/movie. Below are some cool videos that I found around the web.

If you are unfamiliar with the Hunger Games, I would highly recommend reading the series. Whether 12 or 20, this book is sure to catch your attention.

I've read all the books, and it seems almost as if it was a spin off of a movie created several years ago titled 'Battle Royale'. Check out the film trailer, it's very a interesting -and far more disturbing- approach to a group of young people having to murder one another to survive.

Battle Royale was a really really good film

From what I've heard from people it's the new Twilight, this comes from people who like Twilight so it must mean it's just as bad.
Apparently it's already got a Twilight-esque fan base in that they're doing all the 'Team ???' crap already.
Also, reading it, it sounds just as bad, my friend made me read his 'favourite part' and I was like "...And this is good in what way?".

Honestly, I'll be paying no attention to the Hunger Games.
