I don't think I've ever died. I've always woken up before I died; I've been in pain, but not death.
Human response mechanism, back when we were sleeping in trees we'd fall out and get injured so we evolved to wake up and feel like we are falling and therefore save ourselves. Even though we no longer live in trees this still happens because there's not enough reason to 'unevolve' it again.
I rarely ever die in my dreams.
My dreams always dissappear at the most exciting points though (like when I got her pants off or when I am about to slaughter the evil lord.
When I've had enough of my dream and I'm bored, I just find something near me (like a wall) and run right into it to wake up. Or I just dive right down in front of me.
No, I just die a terrible death. The funny thing is, those are the mornings when I wake up with headaches.

When I was a younger self, I would have reoccuring dream in which I fell in slow motion from the second level in a large mall. When I hit the ground I would wake up, sometimes giving me a shock sending my nerves crazy. I also remember dreaming about going off an ungodly large jump with an ATV, and upon landing I awoke.
That's the closest I've got to "Dying"

Nope, I usually just wake up in the middle of a dream and therefore never get to know how it ended. No triggers or anything involved, it's completely spontaneous. You could say I'm fairly immortal in my dreams.
Somehow this doesn't trouble me at all. I sometimes have dreams in which I make jumps from 30 meters up without hurting myself.
I had a reaccuring dream too. In my dream I was running through my house when around the corner a monster ate me. I had this dream many times and the monster was always in the same spot.
I died in my dream once. Everything went white, and stayed white till the next morning ._.
Remember, there is a big differance between alcoholics and avocados!
You shud keep a log. Sometimes reoccurring dreams only happen once but in your dream you remember it as happening before so you believe it is a reoccurring dream.
I can hardly remember any dreams, so no I don't think I died in a dream from the ones I can remember
