I've decided to make a thread where all the poets here in Jiggmin's Village can post their poetry! Now, I know that there's always some sort of fuss when a thread has already been made, so I'm sorry if this one has.

This is in the Artistry Orchard because... Well... Poetry is an art. You've just got to look at it in the right way!

I like pie
But then I say WHY
Why, oh pie,
Must you make me die?
My enemy poisened you,
Then I consumed you,
I am now dead as a shoe.

Well, I'm bored so I think I'll make a poem straight from my head.
Once I fell down the stairs and my knee got scratched and it bled.
Sorry for vulgarity,
I'm just expressing the rarity
Of breaking your leg and then donating to charity.
Obviously, I would do something like that,
Why would I? Because my name is p-p-p-pat.
I'm going to end this poem because I am hungry.
So...I thought I'd mention that I have to pee.

That One Grave Mistake

Sometimes wounds
Are too deep to be healed.
Now to agonizing pain
I reluctantly yield.

Each and every tear
That falls to my hands
Is just another reminder
Of what a fool I am!

That one wrong move
That sent you away;
That one grave mistake
That caused our love to flay -

It's stained my mind
With the fact
That even though I've ruined everything,
There's no going back.

Those poems of love
They make your heart flutter;
Fly away like a dove.

But then there are poems
Of grief and dispair
That seem like they were made
In an evil man's lair

There are also poems
That make no sense at all
I've read one of a cat
Playing basketball

Poems bring out emotions
That a story could not
So go on, write one!
I made this one on the spot.

It's poetry...You can write what you want, and nobody should be able to judge you...;n;

All I'll say is that it's your opinion. If you have a negative opinion, just don't say anything, or at least give the writer a nice critique.

I really don't think people enjoy being insulted like that...
I don't want to argue, either. This is a place for anyone who wants to post whatever kind of poetry they want, no matter how awful it might be. .n.
