Now, if you take out all the ones who macro'd this list is non-existant. I still hold the title of the highest ranked member of Pr2 without hacking This list is not impressive.

Macroing wasn't always against the rules -- many macroed accounts did so before it was.

Even still macroing was always obviously against the rules... So you have to wait until the creater of the game who is highly inactive to tell you its bad just for you to know it? So, if no one tells me that killing somone its bad it's ok if I do it?

First of all, there are laws in place to prevent killing, besides the fact it's unjust and downright crude.

There was never a "law" that was against macroing in the first place. In some eyes, it's "cheating" and "unfair", but in others it's a way to maximize exp in small amounts of time. It doesn't affect other users and ANYONE can do it.

Besides, hacking is flying across the map and pulling infinite items out of your ass, and macroing, besides that overused "3rd party program" argument, isn't hacking in any way. The work's done for you, but it's still more efficient and faster than an actual person and in regard doesn't help you "cheaply" win.

I agree with this. Is it using a third party program? Yes. Is it causing harm to anyone or giving you a completely unfair advantage? No.

That makes you super lazy eh? And, all you want is attention... Atleast when I was simming I would invite people, talk to them, and make friends... The whole point of a macro is you AREN'T AT YOUR COMPUTER. Meaning you can actually go and do something productive in life and come back and have a win-win situation. Much better than sitting in front of your computer for 7 hours go *click* *click* with your friends. That's the reason why people macroed.

I wasn't there when it was allowed, so I can't speak for others.
But this has always been a matter of rules, not opinions -- everybody has a different opinion about if simming and macroing are OK or not, allowed or not, encouragable or not, right or not. Yes, even us mods. But there's only one person making the rules.
