Simply log out then log back in (you could do this after telling the admin you don't want to be one just to be nicer), or just have them de-temp you. Without a doubt, the former should be the way out.

Admins should probably ask the user beforehand if they want to be temped, I know PC does.

Well yeah, but not if it's the case where it's a surprise sort of thing.

Yes. The main aspect of being a temp mod is that it is temporary, so once you get it you cannot leave the server if you wish to keep it. There are exceptions, of course, but you get my point.

They used to be able to, but then some temp mods went a bit crazy and banned a lot of people.

Then again that was a long time ago when admins were just starting and no one really knew what they were doing.

Well after 60 temps I can say it's boring and not really fun in the slightest, but that's my opinion

pr2 hasn't much stuff to do as mod/admin, just deal with kids. In Terraria/Minecraft or any such game there any1 can own server, it's fun to be mod/admin, as you have not only to chat, but can help people, and organize fun.

I still think temps should have some sort of ban, 15 or 30 minute bans would help so much as opposed to just constantly d/c'ing/3rd warning a user.

I honestly feel that the 60 second and hour bans should be given back to temps. It would be good for them to get used to giving real bans and it puts them to a real test. Besides, it can be useful when there are no mods around (only if the particular temp can be trusted).
