Hello! I can help answer those questions. I think it's only possible when the admin are online. They would click on your name and select the "temp mod" button and *poof* your a temp. There is a chance of becoming a full mod after being temped but they will have to see if you are ready for the job.

Yeah, first temps can be quite a rough experience... I remember my second temp, when I tried out one of those "bold the chat" commands in main, and I failed with it... killed the chat for a minute and a half. I still remember about that...

You're not alone then.
In my 3rd temp I forgot to hold CTRL while warning people, and warned inuyasharox by mistake, 2 times! xD
