Thread: Creation Block Movement

    Default Creation Block Movement

In response to Pro Clifo's Creation Clock, I have calculated the time it takes for a block to move

4.05371167976 blocks per second vertically and horizontally

This is an approximation, but it is clear at least 4 per second.

It took a while but It's done and done.

    Hope this helped...

    Because really it was boring.

Thanks to τhepro1998 and Pro Clifo for helping out.

Umm, I'm gonna try my best not to be rude.

Proclifo's Creation clock is very inaccurate. The lava only travels half of the horizontal axis (200 pixels). You can calculate how long it takes for a block to travel through a whole map by simply doing calculations. The map is 200x200, so that's 40000 pixels. A block moves 4 (not sure) blocks per second, so that's 40000 divided by 4 which equals 10000. This is how many seconds it would take, 10000 seconds. Let's cconvert it to minutes by divinding it by 60, which would equal 166 minutes. Then you can do the same for hours, which is 2.77 hours. So basically, it takes around 2.8 hours for a block to travel through a map. The fault in Proclifo's match can never be fixed. The block only travels on floors, what about going through floors? The floors also take up space. So we would have to double the time. And it's even more inaccurate because of the falling. When the lava block is done the floor, it falls to the next one. The falling spaces must also be calculated.

    The map is 160 x 160.
