Creation Clock?

Do you think there could be possible to make a clock on Creation based on the time it takes for water/lava or another block to drop?

I've been thinking about this lately, and this goes into alot of mind-thinking of how to make something like this work.
It doesn't have to be based on seconds/minutes/hours, but it should somewhat be a clock which counts time.

If someone does make a clock in Creation, we could call it Creation-time.

Does anyone have any idea of how to do it?

I've been experimenting in the room Creation Clock, but I don't seem to be making much progress.

If someone were to succeed in making something like this, it would have been so epic and revolutionary...
