Sonic Generations

So, this game came out today. It's a new Sonic game where you can play as 'classic' or 'modern' Sonic. It looks pretty good, i'll be getting it probably.

Wow. It looks pretty good, but its for Ps3 right? :/ Anyways, I don't really like the classic sonic one. :I I liked Act 2. It looks like a good game though. I didn't like Sonic Colors. It was boring in my opinion.

It's for Ps3, i'm pretty sure. Classic Sonic looks OK, but not the best. I have to agree with you disliking Sonic Colors-I never really liked that one. I loved unleashed, but some night stages were... eh. Eggmanland was pretty much a really long level, but I took a secret shortcut that makes it go quicker (no, not the one where you have to use that one combo to glitch through the wall) I can't wait to play this, i'll probably play it Friday.

Sonic Colors was just boring in my opinion. The humour wasn't funny at all, and honestly kind of stupid. >.<

Don't really like the 3DS one. The way it looks...I'd rather go with the Ps3 one. Ps3 one looks great. Just don't think its worth it. (3DS one)

I thought Sonic Colors was fun, especially the final boss. ^^'
The story was decent, the dialogue is so cheesy it is kind of funny, and the gameplay is the main show (a good show too). The grabbed Sonic Unleashed's Day Gameplay, and added some extra stuff, while Sonic Generations is just like Sonic Unleashed's Day gameplay.

A 3DS version is coming out in a couple of days, and it looks pretty decent too.

Meh, it doesn't look like it has much 3-D, just a lot of flat. I probably won't get the 3DS one (I don't have a 3DS anyway, so...)

Umm....SONIC ADVENTURE 3 (no battle, for that means remake), also Sonic Adventure 1 was amazing, imo.

Got Sonic Generations. Alot of weirdness with the voice acting but the levels, omg they're the best I've played since the 2D days and there are loads of challenges and stuff, like getting through the Chemical Plant with just a bubble shield. It's weird because Sky Sanctuary is one of the FIRST levels. o_O

If I had any complaints then what I've seen so far, the game is patronisingly easy, like it was made for retarded people. I wonder if it'll get more difficult.

I'd had Sonic 1 for like 4 years before I beat it, 'cuz as a kid I was just super terrible at Labyrinth Zone. I failed at the whole zone, and I had the most trouble with the boss (The Pussymobile, as I like to call it).

But, other than that, the 2D Sonic games were pretty easy. :b

The 2D ones had alot of instant death drops when you mess up. These levels have one or two, clearly signposted areas. Don't get me started on how easy the modern sonic levels are as well. I'm a bit disappointed.

Graphics are great, seeing the old levels re imagined in 3D is probably the best thing ever.

not to mention that it's highly unlikely that you'll fall in said pits, since simply hitting "A" will make you fly at the nearest enemy.
There are many points in Colors where the pits have enemies/objects flying over them for this sole purpose. (Asteroid Coaster zone is a good example)

I'm very glad I rented Sonic Colours and didn't buy it.
