If you are in a Marching Band post your experiences, videos, and/or Pictures of it.
This was what we did last year (2011) - 2nd Place in Golden Triangle Contest; 6th Place at Area; 10th place in State finals.

I'm in band, so I automatically have to do marching band. We aren't too good at marching (we are good at playing). And we don't do anything too fancy.
I play trombone.
That marching baritone looks awesome.

I don't really like being in band, I'm really just in it for the trips 'cuz the band takes some pretty cool trips. But I'm glad I'm in pit rather than playing anything else, it's a ***** having to haul equipment around but I'd hate having to march. Too much damn work. I already hate how much time I have to put into band. :L
Well, shall we dance?
I was in concert band, but I never joined marching band. Our band has a lame director, so there are hardly any kids to start with. Most of them are the goof-offs just taking band to fill their schedule.
I wish we had a better conductor, to start :|
she's an angel for sure
kill me now kill me now kill me now
Im in marching band converted to trumpet from french horn
Is anyone going to that thing in maryland in november
That would be cool
Another reason I haven't quit band is that since it's marching band as well it satisfies the P.E. requirement - if I quit, I'd have to take gym. And I damn sure don't want to do that.
Well, shall we dance?
In a marching band I play clarinet, but I play other instruments too. Look in musicians unite page two to find out.

I was in the marching band back in 8th grade (Both middle and high school is connected, and the 8th graders went over to the high school for band practice.) and still am doing it now. I'm currently playing the orchestra bells. Since we don't have a pit at the front, I literally march around with the rest of the people playing their instruments. To carry my instrument, I have a harrnis (sp) to keep my bells on. However, due to money issues and shipping issues (didn't arrived on time), I'd played on one hand and carried the other around.
In 9th grade, we've done the thriller dance after doing the 80's songs. Here's a video of this:
A lot of people in my district quit band in their highschool years just because they don't want to march.

I've been in the marching band for almost 4 seasons, and in all seasons, I've played the alto sax. In this season, I'm the Woodwind Captain. I took band for two reasons: I absolutely love playing music and I didn't want to take PE.
Here's a video of our marching band show freshman year:
And do any of you guys watch Drum Corps International? If you don't know what that is, it's pretty much the professional marching band. My favorite corps is the Concord Blue Devils:
That was only part of their 12-minute show.
Most of the instructors in my marching band participated in the Blue Devils.
I had to choose between band and orchestra, so I chose what instrument I've been playing longer. Well, technically not longer, but still. Plus it would be weird because my brother is section leader for the trumpets, so we'd be in the same class. But I have done marching a few times in my life at parades and homecoming football games in middle school. It was fun, despite how short I am. I played percussion, so I was walking around like a total geek with a big ol' pot belly for a drum in front of me, it was hard work man. xD The reason why I did percussion was because apparently you can't 'march' with an oboe, so I had to choose another instrument to play and memorize the tunes. It was fun though.
I also fancied the little feather on the hat a lot. <3
Tal vez sea todo en su cabeza.
The USSBA Champs at the naval academy?
Also @ OP you best be having a good horn angle, especially because you have a baritone which is IMO worse than marching with a contra bass because you have to hold it straight out. (only worse thing to march with is a euphonium)
I've gone from back and forth between trombone and baritone among HS band and drum corps.
I know someone that plays baritone for the cadets (this year's DCI champion), being in DCI is hell.

I'm in my School's High School band, Pep Band, and Marching band. If you're in Band, you're in all. My school is really small.
But, I play in the percussion section. So, when we march I play the snare drum.
WICKED is good
Yeahhhh percussionists represent
Well, shall we dance?
Marching with a clarinet is easy lol.
Haha!
