Dumb Top Hat

I keep seeing these frustration levels in Newest trying to be the Guardian of the Top Hat. The levels are actually surprisingly good, having decent levels of difficulty, but some of them are just overkill. Making a super hard frustration level that's harder than, say, Frustration Easy by Intrpd, does not serve any real purpose for a hat as useless as the Top Hat.

Any of you who recognize me on JV probably know I have a reputation for complaining and for being a pessimist. To diffuse these jabs, let me first say I think it's a cool hat. It's useful and you can create levels exclusively for it. However, in terms of usefulness it falls short by a lot. In fact, its usefulness is actually inferior to the Propeller Hat, thus whatever level guards the Top Hat should be easier than Hat Factory and Volcano Inferno. Indeed, wearing this hat shuts you out of a lot of glitch levels, and very rarely do you need to run right through a Vanish Block.

Does anybody else agree with me on this?

I think the top hat is worth it if when u stand on a vanish you go through it or when u hit one from the bottom u go through it. If it doesn't,crown still the best

Yes, I agree but I think it should be a bit harder than Hat factory and Volcano Inferno. It should be easily beaten by a rank 30 not rank 40.

it means that the erm falling glitch, where u stand where a green block is, then evade the waters and solid blocks are then hit a net to fall through, like in intrepuax's level the test. cant do it with top hat

there are glitches that you can do using 45 acc. that require you falling through the walls, one being a vanish block (candyland for example has one of these glitches). They're impossible with the top hat on.

Make the level hard as f*** Jiggmin! The Top Hat is supposed to be a SPECIAL hat not another hat that EVERYONE can get so easily. I personally think the top hats image should become the image of skill, if you have this hat you are a skilled player, you were able to finish a hard level. Like I also stated in a previous post, having a more difficult level causes people to practice more so they can beat it, which adds a whole new version of "good" pr2 Racers.

Only good can come from having a hard as hell level, sooooooooooooooo make it hardstyle ;P cuzz we like techno

I personally think the top hats image should become the image of skill, if you have this hat you are a skilled player, you were able to finish a hard level. Like I also stated in a previous post, having a more difficult level causes people to practice more so they can beat it, which adds a whole new version of "good" pr2 Racers.

Agreed, BUT there are noobs that got the Top Hat by just sending Jiggmin an e-mail, while they didn't have to beat the level. So people won't know you have beaten the hard level or you just e-mailed Jiggmin.

It is not better than cowboy,and not better than crown,so...
