Seriously? Who doesn't have an adblocker these days?
    Well, shall we dance?

So... I heard you like pies. That's cool. Pies are very delicious. They are even better than applesauce. Although applesauce kind of sucks. Comparing pie to applesauce is not really doing justice to pies. Pies are much better than steak. Because steak comes from cows. And cows are evil. And so, when the imminent cow apocalypse comes, we shall be ready, with our pies!

Adblock Plus is one of the most well-known, respected and most-used ad-blocking programs on the Internet. It's safe.
    Well, shall we dance?

    From here. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...ibdccddilifddb
By preventing the display of ads, Adblock Plus makes browsing the web less taxing on both your computer and your sanity.

Adblock Plus is a community-driven open source project that aims to make the internet better for everyone. It was originally created for the Firefox browser and with more than 100 million downloads it has become the most popular browser extension in the world. We are now offering Adblock Plus for Google Chrome™ (formerly AdThwart) as well and the community is working hard to produce the same value you know from the Firefox version.

Please note that there is another extension called "AdBlock", which is not related to the Adblock Plus movement but also works great.

    -----------------

Release announcements and changelogs can be found here: https://adblockplus.org/releases/

Problems? Try restarting Chrome and/or clicking "Update now" in the Adblock Plus Options.

Found a bug? We are aware of some issues: http://adblockplus.org/en/known-issues-chrome. If you found more or need help, visit our forum: https://adblockplus.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=10.

Adblock Plus does not infringe on your privacy! Chrome shows a warning for all extensions that modify web pages using the same mechanism as Adblock Plus, even if they do not actually keep or send any private data such as your browsing history.

Yeah, it is most likely taking about the content of the page (the "data").
It is declared "your" because it is your computer that downloads the webpage.
