I have it on multiplayer but the update wont load all the way it says you've been disconnected

My Wii LAN Adapter just broke recently though, sadly.

I checked on google the when i download it the thing spins for like 20 minutres and it stays red and then it ends and it says you've been disconnected

i cant get on multiplayer and when i try to update i see the words by COD then it goes black and says you've been disconnected from Nintendo WiFi connections
