    Well... it is stupid...

The former part of my logic was flawed, because it was exaggerated. No one in their right mind would actually say that. The latter, however, made perfect sense, because non-theists have proven in this thread, countless times, that there is significant evidence that suggests there is no God.

Then again, it's my opinion whether or not I think it's stupid, so there's no flaw there.

Here are the thoughts that come to my mind when I think of fine tuning:

1 - I'm not entirely convinced that if a constant were changed 1 trillionth of one percent, no life could exist. Obviously life wouldn't be exactly the same, but life still could exist. (And probably even larger amounts of variance could be applied) Things naturally adapt in the universe. Life doesn't even need to be remotely similar to things on Earth to be considered life.

2 - If the universe needs a very specific set of constants to sustain life (which seems unlikely to me), Then who is to say that there isn't a natural process which keeps running until these conditions come up again? Why would you jump to the conclusion that a creator has to pick these constants?

3 - It may just be that it would be impossible to for us to accurately imagine what it would be like if constants were different. The constants, in essence may make up reality itself, and can not be imagined any differently let alone changed in reality. Does this imply a creator? Maybe; but in this scenario, reality exists, and thus must have these constants anyway. You cannot deduce whether reality came up through a natural process, or a creator, both being outside our reality (and thus our understanding) in this scenario.

4 - If the universe is deterministic, there would be no way for beings within the universe to determine anything, since that would require the knowledge of every exact position of every particle in the universe, which is impossible for two reasons: The amount of data that would need to be 'stored' on would be greater than the universe itself, and because of the uncertainty principle. The universe would follow a sort of function if it were deterministic, and knowing this function would essentially give you the identity of god.

EDIT: Also, I'm not sure that 3 and 4 are special pleading fallacies. In order for something to fall under the category of this fallacy, it has to be different from the norm in an irrelevant way. I think that whatever allows our reality to exist must be out of our logic. Either infinity exists where some function must be out of our logic, or something started it all, which again, is outside our logic.

And I'm talking about the ideological all good God. Not necessarily the God depicted in the Bible.
I normally ignore this thread, but

The devil, or Satan, is evil because of his jealousy and wickedness of his own actions, and how his ideas were not chosen. Due to this jealousy and suffering, he wants others to suffer too. Or atleast my church teaches dat.
    I made it myself
I'll work on it again soon I promise

Yes, Lucifer is jealous. That is what led to his fall. He gathered a collection of the weakest angels to serve under him and tried to overthrow God. As such, God banished Lucifer to Hell where he would rule over his own domain.

EDIT: God didn't directly intervene as he had an army of his own angels fight for him. In case there is confusion.

First of all, I never even mentioned evolution, lol.

But yeah, second of all, evolution doesn't state that we were monkeys. I don't know much about evolution, but I know that it doesn't say that. It doesn't say we were dogs, cats, gorillas, that fish were birds or any other combination of anything.

I find it very curious that people project such human emotions and meticulous details onto characters they've never experienced directly. [and this goes irrespective of whether a person believes in supernaturals or not]

What hard ground can we find to define the specific nature of proposed supernaturals, such as an anthropomorphic manifestation of evils, without first at least obtaining proof of their existance?

It is like describing the surface of a far-off planet, shrouded in inpenetrable mists, in microscopic detail. A moot exercise in fantasy.

    Raar!

You're an idiot if you legitimately think that my claim was that all things in recorded history are false. This conversation isn't worth having.

    EDIT:

*Heavy sigh,* look, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you legitimately think I'm trying to disprove all of history. And I'll spell it out so you understand.

Just because something is recorded in history, that does not make it real.

The above claim does not IN ANY WAY imply that all of history is false.
