This is where all of the ideas for PR3 go. I will periodically look through the ideas and if any are really good I will put them in OP.
Possible ideas for changes in current level hosting:
-A fusion of the pr3 and pr2 level hosting systems. Example: Single player Campaign (the way it's hosted in pr3), Multi player Campaign (similar to the way the pr2 campaign is hosted), Lobby (Pr3 hosted levels), All time best (The way pr2 hosts it), Today's best (The way pr2 hosts it), and Search (The way pr2 hosts it).
-Increasing the amount of levels hosted at a time to 6-9, plus adding a hide button that would hide the selected level and show a new one.
-Favorites tab. You can favorite a level when you either finish or quit it, and there's a tab for your favorite levels.
-Four tabs, one for races, one for hat attacks, ect.
Nearly Necessary Ideas:
-A folder system for blocks, IE you create a folder and can put any blocks you want in them. This would make level making based on a specific set of blocks much easier.
-Santa hat needs to be changed. Instead of actually physically CHANGING the block into an ice block, just make it so it appears to be that way and make the block provide the same traction as other blocks. Right now it ruins some levels because it makes whatever block you're standing on permanent, and doesn't allow for the top part of a block to activate.
-Old Pr1 body should be in Pr3.
-Teams in Deathmatches.
-Saving custom backgrounds.
-Copy pasting sections of levels.
-Variable stat adjusters. Instead of just changing every stat by 5, it will increase specific stats by different amounts, which can be changed in the Block Editor when making a happy or sad block.
-Giving specific items out of an item block a percent chance of being selected, instead of how it is now.
-A hide controls button so that they won't be in the way.
-Being able to chat with others in Level Editor.
-Statistics about a player. Example: Favorite level, Favorite type of level, ect.
New block ideas
-Solid/net block that allows missles to go through it.
-Health block: gives 1 health when hit, one use, for deathmatches.
-Hat trap block, steals your hat away.
-Option to make move blocks move a character with them.
-Blocks that affect (effect? whatever) other blocks when activated. One way to do this is to make the block, when touched on a side, change a certain type of block into another type of block.
Specific Level/Game changes or bugs:
Block trading ideas:
-Giving a block as "use only". This means that the person can not trade or edit the block in any way.
-Trading block system. A system that you can initiate with a player that causes the blocks you want to trade and the blocks the other person wants to trade them for to be displayed. You can then either trade or negotiate more.
