Here are some screenshots of a private JV world, the permanent residents include me, bowser Jr (Shadowtzar or whatever he's called now), Dry bowser (web browsar99) and Zorjeff (Nudger of players in lava - it's his official title)

The view inside my cactus farm of the diving board in what's affectionately known as "The Fortress"

Another view inside The Fortress, this time of the walls. The Fortress is a large settlement I built to keep creepers out, it took a few days to smelt all the smooth stone that makes up the walls.

The view inside my house. Definately not fire proof. Quite dark because of the thunderstorm outside. Zorjeff has a creeper infested tree house outside my home, you get to it from climbing up a ladder on the balcony. He's moving out into a proper house soon. He's making his house high up so he can nudge people into falling off.

Shadow's house sorta thing, alongside the lava pool I found about 100 blocks away from The Fortress, he built his house here so he could have a lava moat, because he's bowser jr yo.

Dry Bowser's keep. On tuesdays you can see him swimming about in the lava while making duck noises. He built the castle on the original settlement that includes a mine with epic caverns (Me and shadow found 6 dungeons in there) and a guesthouse for people new to the server. It's an area that is prone to having huge amounts of creepers and the reason why I built The Fortress. This is the first thing players see when they make the journey from the spawn point over the sea. I've yet to make a boat dispenser here.

Beneath The Fortress there are redstone circuits to control the doors, power traps and for experiments. I'm getting quite good at wiring things up now that I understand that you can make logic gates. In the screenshot I'm fixing the double doors so they close on a delay. This helps keep the creepers out.

Map of the world. Showing the places that are built up. There's only about 30 hours played in this world at the moment. But we're finally starting to tame this vast wilderness.
